How might adoption benefit me?

Adoption is a loving choice and does not have the same negative stigma of years ago. Many women choose open adoption because they can select the parents they want for their child. Some keep in close contact with the family so they can still be a part of their child's life. However, a woman may not want to keep in contact for several reasons but has the assurance that a contact attempt can be made in the future.
